The man (who has a permit) said he didn't know the park was off limits, but the news article says the park is posted. I find it hard to believe the man saw a sign and carried a gun anyway.
The only crime he was charged with was carrying in a park. If he had committed other crimes like assault or brandishing or something else why wasn't he charged?
It will be nice if this man has the money to fight the charge. We'll get rid of the nasty no signs needed AG opinion if it goes his way.
